From the SKILL.md

# The Lancet Digital Health (the-lancet-digital-health) ## Journal positioning The Lancet Digital Health is an Elsevier open-access title in the Lancet family, and it is a leading venue for clinically grounded digital health research. Its defining character is clinical rigor applied to digital and data-driven medicine: it rewards work where an algorithm, digital intervention, or informatics method is validated against clinically meaningful endpoints and reported to the standards expected of any Lancet clinical study, not technical novelty alone. The journal publishes AI/ML in healthcare, digital interventions, telemedicine, wearable and sensor research, and health informatics — but the bar is demonstrated or credible clinical impact, external validation, and transparent reporting. Readership spans clinicians, data scientists, informaticians, and health-policy audiences. This skill is a **fit / venue-selection / re-framing** tool. It does not replace the journal's current official submission guidelines. Before submitting, re-check the live author instructions on the Lancet Digital Health site. ## When to trigger - The author has a clinical AI/ML, digital-intervention, or health-info

About this skill
What does the the-lancet-digital-health skill do?

Use when targeting The Lancet Digital Health (Lancet Digit. Health) or deciding whether a digital-health, clinical-AI, or health-informatics manuscript fits this open-access clinical venue. Encodes the journal's fit, framing, method-and-evidence bar, house style, official-submission re-check, and desk-reject heuristics.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills --skill the-lancet-digital-health --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills, a repository with 984 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
