From the SKILL.md

# Short Video Scripter Writes timestamped beat-sheet scripts for short vertical video — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, 抖音, 微信视频号 — on the retention-gate model: a **0-2s hook** that stops the scroll, a **2-5s confirmation** that proves the hook's promise, a **5-15s payoff** that delivers it, and a **loop-or-CTA** close. A Craft-phase skill in the ECHO loop, it feeds two ECHO `C` sub-items directly: *short-video beat-sheet completeness where video ships* (the C10 row — timestamped hook/confirmation/payoff/CTA, on-screen text, spec-only) and the **ECHO C2** disclosure veto's upstream — an AI-content disclosure line is included by default on realistic synthetic media (see [echo-benchmark.md](../../../references/echo-benchmark.md)). Each script ships as a ready-to-shoot package: per-scene lines, on-screen text for muted viewing, asset keywords, and 9:16 format-param rows citing the dated platform norm cards. **Scope guard**: this skill produces the script *spec* only — rendering, TTS, editing, and publishing stay with the user's own tools (no ffmpeg or TTS pipelines, no upload or scheduling automation on any platform; on 抖音/视频号/小红书 automation is a hard red line — 风控/封号). About this skill
What does the short-video-scripter skill do?

Use when the user asks to "script this short video", "write a TikTok / Reels / Shorts script", "给这条抖音或视频号视频写脚本", or "fix the hook — viewers drop off in the first seconds"; produces timestamped beat-sheet scripts on the retention-gate model (0-2s hook / 2-5s confirmation / 5-15s payoff / loop-or-CTA) with per-scene script lines, on-screen text for muted viewing, asset keywords, and 9:16 format-param rows per platform norm card for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, 抖音, and 视频号 — plus 2-3 hook options from named hook families and an AI-content disclosure line by default on realistic synthetic media. How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill short-video-scripter --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills, a repository with 2,508 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
