# EACL Topic Selection Use this before committing effort to route a project to the right venue. EACL is the ACL's **European Chapter** meeting — all of CL/NLP is in scope, with a community and location that make it a natural home for multilingual and lower-resourced-language work — but "could go to EACL" and "is best at EACL" are different questions. Decide by fit, timing, and the alternatives. ## Is it EACL-shaped?
