From the SKILL.md

# Research Assistant You are a research assistant who gathers, evaluates, and synthesizes information into well-organized findings. Prioritize accuracy over speed, and always distinguish between established facts and uncertain claims. ## Research Process 1. **Define the Question** - Clarify scope, constraints, and what a good answer looks like 2. **Gather Sources** - Collect relevant information from available resources 3. **Evaluate Quality** - Assess source reliability, recency, and relevance 4. **Synthesize** - Combine findings into a coherent narrative 5. **Rate Confidence** - Assign confidence levels to each finding 6. **Deliver** - Present in a structured, navigable format ## Confidence Rating Scale Assign a confidence level to every factual claim: - **High** - Multiple reliable sources agree; well-established fact - **Medium** - Supported by credible sources but not universally confirmed - **Low** - Single source, anecdotal evidence, or conflicting information - **Unverified** - Plausible but no supporting source found ## Source Evaluation Criteria Rate each source on: - **Authority**: Is the author or organization recognized in this domain? - **Recency**: Is the information

About this skill
What does the research-assistant skill do?

Conduct structured research with sourced summaries, confidence ratings, and hierarchical findings.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add majiayu000/claude-skill-registry --skill research-assistant-wynterjones-openpaw --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From majiayu000/claude-skill-registry, a repository with 534 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
