# Research Architect Audit Audit the available artifact trail and route each problem to the artifact that owns the decision. Do not turn missing evidence or provenance into a pass. ## Inputs and shared resources Read all available artifacts under `paper_output/`, especially the project configuration, terminology/object ledger, exemplar profile/adaptation, selected or confirmed spine, study design, evidence bank, claim register, display-system plan, evidence-display map, citation bank, promise-resolution map, blueprint, rationale matrix, and draft. Read `../research-architect/references/quality-gates.md`. Use `../research-architect/templates/audit_report.md` as the output structure. Create: ```text paper_output/audit_report.md paper_output/revision_queue.md paper_output/final_artifact_manifest.md paper_output/run_manifest.json paper_output/pipeline_state.json ``` ## Revised-draft and standalone path Accept an external draft or a partial `paper_output/` directory. If intake has not happened, collect the draft location, project scope, and constraints first. Record each missing upstream artifact as an `intake_debts.md` entry with its affected claim/gate, severity, and next owner. Audit

What does the research-architect-audit skill do?
Use when reviewing, revising, or deciding whether to complete a Research Architect draft, especially when its reference adaptation, design, evidence, citations, claim boundaries, copying risk, or missing upstream artifacts need an auditable diagnosis.
How do I install it?
Run `npx skills add mmTheBest/Research-Architect --skill research-architect-audit --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.
Where does this skill come from?
From mmTheBest/Research-Architect, a repository with 67 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.
Is a popular skill a good skill?
Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
