# Oracle Cloud Install & Auth ## Overview Configure API key authentication for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). OCI auth requires a `~/.oci/config` file with **five mandatory fields** — user OCID, fingerprint, tenancy OCID, region, and the path to an RSA private key.
