From the SKILL.md

# Memory System Design Memory provides the persistence layer that allows agents to maintain continuity across sessions and reason over accumulated knowledge. Simple agents rely entirely on context for memory, losing all state when sessions end. Sophisticated agents implement layered memory architectures that balance immediate context needs with long-term knowledge retention. The evolution from vector stores to knowledge graphs to temporal knowledge graphs represents increasing investment in structured memory for improved retrieval and reasoning. ## When to Activate Activate this skill when: - Building agents that must persist across sessions - Needing to maintain entity consistency across conversations - Implementing reasoning over accumulated knowledge - Designing systems that learn from past interactions - Creating knowledge bases that grow over time - Building temporal-aware systems that track state changes ## Core Concepts Memory exists on a spectrum from immediate context to permanent storage. At one extreme, working memory in the context window provides zero-latency access but vanishes when sessions end. At the other extreme, permanent storage persists indefinitely but requir

About this skill
What does the memory-systems skill do?

Design and implement memory architectures for agent systems. Use when building agents that need to persist state across sessions, maintain entity consistency, or reason over structured knowledge.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add majiayu000/claude-skill-registry --skill memory-systems-abdullahmalik17-digital-fte-2 --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From majiayu000/claude-skill-registry, a repository with 534 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
