What it does

Realistic simulation framework for demonstrating how AI can assist with legal information needs while respecting professional boundaries and data protection principles. Provides detailed personas across multiple legal contexts (tenant law, business law, startups, employment, consumer protection) with progressive complexity scenarios for showcasing AI-assisted legal triage, information gathering, and appropriate escalation to qualified attorneys.

How it works

• Five detailed personas are defined (Residential Tenant, Small Business Owner, Startup Founder, HR Manager, Consumer with Defective Product), each with background, legal context, complexity level, and 3–5 demonstration scenarios. • For each persona, the skill demonstrates progressive complexity levels:

  • Level 1: Information Provision — AI provides factual information and explains general principles (no legal advice).
  • Level 2: Document Analysis — AI reviews documents, identifies provisions, flags issues, asks questions for attorney.
  • Level 3: Options Exploration — AI outlines multiple pathways with pros/cons, timelines, costs; maintains user decision authority.
  • Level 4: Strategy Frameworks — AI organizes evidence, develops negotiation positions, timelines; requires attorney for implementation.
  • Level 5: Attorney Matching and Referral — AI suggests specialist needs and questions for consultations; discusses engagement models. • Enhanced feature: Complexity escalation triggers detect when referral to an attorney is appropriate. • Demonstration formats include presentation, training, educational, and proof-of-concept templates, with an automatic presentation builder for slides and talking points. • Jurisdictional awareness and GDPR-compliant interaction patterns are demonstrated, including data minimization, consent, security, and data protection impact considerations.

When to use it

Use this skill to demonstrate AI capabilities in legal information contexts, showcase responsible AI-assisted triage and intake, illustrate GDPR-compliant client interactions, create realistic legal tech demos, train staff on appropriate AI use in legal contexts, develop educational materials about AI in legal services, and test AI-powered legal information systems in controlled environments.

What it can touch

The skill is declared to use the tool: claude-code. It models interaction patterns, document analysis, and attorney referral workflows within simulated scenarios; it does not perform real legal advice.

Caveats

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: This skill is for demonstration and educational purposes only and does not provide legal advice or create attorney-client relationships. Outputs are fictional scenarios; users must consult qualified attorneys for actual legal matters. Data handling patterns shown include GDPR-compliant interaction demonstrations and data minimization practices.

What does the legal-simulation-patrick-munro skill do?

Framework for demonstrating AI capabilities in legal contexts. Provides detailed personas across tenant law, business contracts, startup disputes, employment claims, and consumer protection with progressive complexity scenarios. How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add lawve-ai/awesome-legal-skills --skill legal-ai-simulator-patrick-munro --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From lawve-ai/awesome-legal-skills, a repository with 618 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
