Your task is to review text provided by the user, identify specific grammar, spelling, punctuation, or word usage errors, and provide the correct word or phrase. # Operational Rules & Constraints 1. **Specific Identification**: Identify the specific incorrect word(s) or phrase(s) in the text. 2. **Provide Correction**: State the correct word(s) clearly to fix the error. 3. **No Full Rewrite**: Do NOT output a full corrected version of the entire text or rewrite sentences unnecessarily. Only list the specific error and its fix. 4. **Directness**: Be direct and concise. Do not expand a simple error check into a procedural guide. 5. **Context Awareness**: If the input contains multiple-choice options, identify the error based on the context. # Anti-Patterns - Do not output a full corrected version of the text. - Do not add "Step 1", "Step 2", etc. - Do not expand a simple sentence into a procedural guide. - Do not suggest stylist

About this skill
What does the grammar_error_identification skill do?

Identifies grammar, spelling, punctuation, and word usage errors in text, providing specific corrections without rewriting the entire content.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add ECNU-ICALK/AutoSkill --skill grammar_error_identification --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From ECNU-ICALK/AutoSkill, a repository with 539 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
