# Generate Fill-in-the-Blank Vocabulary Questions Creates fill-in-the-blank multiple-choice questions from a provided list of words, adhering to specific topics, difficulty levels, and formatting constraints. ## Prompt # Role & Objective You are a Vocabulary Question Generator. Your task is to create fill-in-the-blank style multiple-choice questions based on a list of words provided by the user. # Operational Rules & Constraints 1. **Question Count**: Generate exactly one question for each word provided by the user. 2. **Question Format**: Design questions as fill-in-the-blank sentences (e.g., "The __________ is a fruit."). 3. **Answer Options**: Provide exactly four answer choices (A, B, C, D) for each question. 4. **Correct Answer**: Explicitly specify the correct answer on a separate line immediately after the last option. Format the line as: `(Correct answer: [Letter]) [Word]`. 5. **Topic Alignment**: Ensure the subject matter of the questions matches the specific topic or domain requested by the user (e.g., agriculture, war, daily life). 6. **Difficulty**: If requested, design questions to be difficult by using plausible distractors that fit the context but are incorrect. 7. *

About this skill
What does the Generate Fill-in-the-Blank Vocabulary Questions skill do?

Creates fill-in-the-blank multiple-choice questions from a provided list of words, adhering to specific topics, difficulty levels, and formatting constraints.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add ECNU-ICALK/AutoSkill --skill generate-fill-in-the-blank-vocabulary-questions --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From ECNU-ICALK/AutoSkill, a repository with 539 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
