From the SKILL.md

# English econ / business journal workflow (en-journal-workflow) ## Purpose This is the routing skill. It does not replace a single-journal profile; it first classifies the manuscript by **discipline, contribution type, method shape, and audience**, then routes into the matching per-journal skill for fit and re-framing. ## Resources to Load When Needed - If the venue is unclear, read `../../resources/worked-examples/venue-routing.md` before choosing a target. - If two sibling fields look plausible, read `../../resources/exemplars/selection-patterns.md`. - Before submission-ready advice, use `../../resources/official-source-map.md` to open the current official author instructions for the chosen journal. ## Ask four things first 1. **Contribution type:** new identification / causal effect, new theory or model, new measurement or method, new fact/anomaly, or integrative review? 2. **Method shape:** reduced-form causal, structural, pure theory/proof, econometric method, lab/field experiment, survey/SEM, qualitative/inductive, optimization/analytics, or design-science? 3. **Discipline audience:** general economics, a specific econ field, finance, accounting, strategy/OB/management, mark

About this skill
What does the en-journal-workflow skill do?

Use when deciding which English economics / finance / management / accounting / marketing / operations / information-systems journal skill to invoke next, comparing fit across the 100-journal English roadmap, or routing a manuscript before venue-specific re-framing.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills --skill en-journal-workflow --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills, a repository with 909 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
