# ECCV Workflow Use this as the project-management view of an ECCV effort. ECCV happens only in **even years**, run by ECVA with chairs rotating per edition and no APC — costs are registration and travel; proceedings are Springer LNCS with free ECVA mirrors. The scarce resource is not money but *calendar*: each decision about ECCV is implicitly a decision about CVPR and ICCV too. ## Where the 2026 cycle stands (as of 2026-07-08) | Milestone | 2026 date | Status today | |---|---|---| | Registration / paper / supplement | Feb 26 / Mar 5 / Mar 12 | Closed | | Reviews out → rebuttal due | May 2 → May 11 | Closed | | Decisions | June 17 | Released | | Camera-ready | June 30, AoE (extended) | Just passed | | Open-access copies (ECVA/Springer) | ~4 weeks pre-conference | Expected ~mid-August | | Conference, Malmö (Arena + Malmömässan) | Sept 8–13; workshops Sept 8–9 | Ahead | Accepted teams are in the release-runway phase (`eccv-camera-ready`, `eccv-artifact-evaluation`). About this skill
What does the eccv-workflow skill do?

Use when running an ECCV campaign end to end — the even-year calendar from February registration to the September conference, the retargeting triangle to CVPR and ICCV seen from the ECCV seat, where the 2026 cycle stands today, and backward planning a 2028 submission from the March deadline.

How do I install it?

Run `npx skills add brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills --skill eccv-workflow --agent claude-code` — it drops the skill into your project so the agent can pick it up. Swap the --agent value for codex, cursor or copilot if you use one of those.

Where does this skill come from?

From brycewang-stanford/Awesome-Journal-Skills, a repository with 909 stars. We read it straight from the repository tree rather than a submitted listing, so what you see here is what is actually published.

Is a popular skill a good skill?

Not necessarily. Stars measure attention, not adoption — a repository can trend for a week and be abandoned. That is why we show the weekly change from our own snapshots next to the total, instead of a single flattering number.
