# Detecting Staleness Scan all artifacts with confidence metadata, compute freshness scores using a pure derived formula, and output a staleness report with suggested actions. --- ## Core Principle **Confidence is always derived, never stored.** The score is computed from immutable inputs (frontmatter + git history + config).
