Es erlischt durch Widerruf und Tod (mandatum morte solvitur). Das mandatum qualificatum (pecuniae credendae) — 'leihe dem X Geld' — wirkt als Kreditsicherheit: Der Mandant haftet dem Beauftragten auf Ersatz, funktional eine Bürgschaft ohne Stipulationsform. ## Moderne Parallele BGB: Auftrag §§ 662 ff. bewahrt Unentgeltlichkeit und freie Widerruflichkeit (§ 671); entgeltlich wird es Geschäftsbesorgung § 675 BGB.
