Wildfire

Wildfire was a mobile application designed to keep users informed of significant events occurring nearby, primarily targeting college students. Originally launched in 2015 at UC Berkeley, the app evolved from a safety alert tool into a social news platform that allowed users to quickly spread information within their communities. Over its operational years, Wildfire sent out approximately 65 million alerts to nearly 1 million users, emphasizing its role in enhancing communication among students, especially during critical incidents or events that required immediate attention.
